presumably this what you do for reason 5 as Windows Vista does not support the MPD16 drivers - but reason should find the MPD16 without drivers installed; it seems Akai will not create drivers for vista, they want you to buy their MPD18, pah! I will test the theroy!

If reason 3 and Reason 4's redrum has the same layout since 4 is what I use...what you wanna do is flip/click and drag the drum decay switch up, it should be next to the 'length' knob on Redrum...let me know if that works
