Final Fantasy VIII Anti-Junction - Boss 32, Ultima Weapon

Here you go.. decided to upload after the requests. I recorded this ages ago along with all the others, but then my save game got wiped so I was that annoyed I never uploaded it.. shame I'll never get to finish the game, but ah well..

What a challenge this was. Seriously. The save point before Ultima Weapon is hidden and can't be used in a no-junction game, so each attempt involved going through a large part of the area before actually meeting ultima weapon. Very tedius, as it took many attempts.

To all the people that have followed this, thanks, it makes it worthwhile. To those doubtful, not much I can say really. Squall is lv100 whereas other are lower, to make Squall higher level than enemy, helping do more damage. Lionheart and shcokwave pulsar gained through chocobo world. However, no stat increasing items found in choco world were used (would defeat the object a tad, wouldn't it?) and deffo no cheats.

And yes.. laptop is a bit old so not the smoothest with the video recorder on.

FF8 has no story-wise connections with FF7. And Ultima weapon comes from FF6, if not an earliest game i would have forgotten about.

the only way to get dark matter is through siren's tool-rf

sry I don't know .. I played the psp version and it was I think a storyline boss apart from the soul of rebirth where you do the quest to get ultima tome

Yeah but that is in the remakes, not in the original NES version.^^
