@horndog2006 With that place the way it is now, I doubt they will get much from it, I cant imagine fair value would be what your house might be worth when they dont have plumbing or trash collectors, so basically these people are going to be thrown out on the streets of new york with maybee a few thousand each to spend, and there is no way they will be able to keep their jobs because there will be no way to for them to find homes at the same value of thaeir homes in new york is that fair?

ive been to third world countrys, this is NOT nearly as bad. this is pretty good compared to third world countrys, hell i live in PA and our roads are much worse than this

Technically they are not stealing if they are compensating them. They just have to accept the low balled amount the government is willing to pay with you guessed it "tax payers" money. Schools are zero tax rev, libraries are zero tax revs. What makes you think in the distant future they can't just plan schools and Hospital along side of the venues. Think of it this way, this is great for jobs , great for property value in that area. People in that should have taken care of their own areas.

I'm sure someone there a few years back rightly said "There goes the neighborhood." Of course today they would have been lynched by the PC police. Sure it was a nice place to live once before it became a "shit place". If you own your house you take better care of it. Typically renters ruin apartments, public housing ect.
