Destination PSP 09 - New titles coming this year

SCEA's annual conference, Destination PlayStation, is currently underway and with it brings a substantial amount of press release and news.

Lot's of new titles were announced for the PSP! Some of these include Assassin's Creed, Motorstorm, Rock Band, and LittleBigPlanet all coming to the PlayStation Portable. Also announced were new bundle packs for the PSP; an Assassin's Creed Entertainment Pack and a Hannah Montana Entertainment Pack, which includes the newest addition to PSP's color library, the Lilac PSP

Here's a quick detailed summary of all the new PSP titles announced for '09 straight from the official press release:

• Madden NFL 10: "...enable NFL fans to build their own formations and plays from scratch on the PSP. Then, through connectivity with the PS3, the plays can be downloaded and perfected on the console. In addition, Madden NFL 10 will deliver a faster and more PSP-friendly gameplay experience to adapt to the PSP owners lifestyle."

• Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10: "...will allow gamers to experience the drama of major golf tournaments with revamped gameplay modes for on and offline play."

• Rock Band Unplugged: "...take center stage as it leverages the PSP systems Wi-Fi capabilities and becomes the first PSP game to include a fully-featured in-game store for downloadable content in the North American and Europeans markets."

• Petz: "...will make its debut on PSP with new, unique titles later this year. The Petz series allows young players to create and care for cute, furry pets chosen from many different breeds of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, dolphins, tigers and bunnies."

• Dissidia Final Fantasy: "...has sold 850,000 units since launching before the holidays in Japan, will make its way to North America this summer."

• LittleBigPlanet: "Developed in conjunction with MediaMolecule, the critically acclaimed game LittleBigPlanet makes its way to the PSP, offering new SackBoy™ adventures with the same play, create, share experience for gamers on-the-go, in addition to brand new levels and environments specifically created for the platform."

• MotorStorm Arctic Edge: "Developed by the award-winning Bigbig Studios, the team behind the best-selling Pursuit Force™ series, MotorStorm Arctic Edge sees the music, the festival and the brutal off-road racing arrive in the breathtaking yet lethal and unpredictable setting of Alaska. The game is also expected to hit the PlayStation 2 platform in Fall of 2009."

Hey Heidi i have a cuestion about vindows vista for PSP,

well when i try to run it in my web browser, i put this "file:/psp/common/wvista.swf" and when i press "enter" a message pop up "content could not been displayed":( if you have any info just let me know. grax!

and if i am right i think tekken 6 was announced on psp a few weeks before psp GO was revealed :D

this doesnt show quality this probably wasnt even on the psp he probably just put the video to fit the psp screen. i was trying to see game play from the oler psp to compare it with the new vita/psp2. this didnt help this is a video footage.

I think this is superb fun we play it frequently during the winter with my cousin he is awesome at it. I got the game utterly free for my sony ps3 here - 115 games. com they have hundreds best thing about it is they are all free I must say 1:22 was brilliant

the PSP and PSP GO have the same processor, they are both just as powerful so no reason the older ones can't run it
