@keef186 i remember some friends wanted to see this show on closed circuit viewing in some bars in nyc, but i had tickets for a rangers hockey game on the same night, so i had my dad tape the audio off the radio and i still have that audio tape today. unfortunately, i have no deck to play it on!!
@keef186 Great memory you have! There used to be a DVD unedited with that exchange you are talking about and Pete started getting sentimental with the audience dedicating this song to them. That bootleg was o.k. but the sound cam off the mixing board from the Bass monitor and the guitar was almost inaudible.
Unless it's been edited out, I remember Roger saying something about making the song a little bit longer because it was so short & then Pete jokes by saying "yeah like Roger". I was there, only 9 yrs old, one of my brother & sister's friend's backed out at the last moment so I got to go.
do you know what made Entwistle's bass playing so unique? He made up his own tunings.

I taped this off the radio too, but the wires were faulty and some of the songs are weak. Now I can watch it here!

Thanks for uploading this. I've always liked this song on the album.
The Who could have added a verse and re-released it in the 80's and it would have been better than 90% of the so-called power ballads of that decade.
