Can someone explain to a non-US citizen what the new heath plan system (like the UK's NHS) actually does for this man? This video is 9 months old - has anything changed for him?

Man this guy should be on the 9/11 heroes memorial, his son shouldn't grow up without a dad just because our government are fucking assholes (sorry for my language) Everybody watch the movie that this man made called 3 weeks in september. This is so messed up, the government should be saving that man just like he risked his life to save the victims of 9 11 at Ground Zero. It makes me wonder how larry silverstein (the owner of the wtc lease) can move on with his life acting like nothing ever happened,while knowing he helped murder 3000 innocent people.

How can any one can deny these HEROS treatment and assistance, it's not just a massive coincidence that all the people who worked at ground zero are dying from Cancer and respiratory problems.
It doesn't take a brainy person to see the damage done to these heroic people.
