  • David Sylvian has one of the most underated voices in music history

  • Imagine this being played in a club when all this was new...! ^__^

Makes me desperately wish i'd been around then

(unfortunately i did not arrive in the world until 1993...)

  • @missymelfan yeah the quiet life album was rather good. the stuff before and after was atrocious.

  • @missymelfan shame that nobody had anything like the interest or success that duran duran had!

  • chicos hanley 1982 on a saturday night bliss

  • @shinysynthcity

David Sylvia looked like a super star in real life, the sound was great it filled all the room I will always remeber

  • no need to imagine, they palyed at porterhouse 1980 I was 15 they filled the room with this great sound

  • Love how pale he is and how he doesn't give a fuck about convention 'cause he know's he's a massively talented, alien-like Beauty :D

  • One of my Favourite UK band back in the day!

  • Don't think David Sylvian has the greatest voice or vocal range. But he is enagmatic and Japan put out some great tunes. Saw them in Glasgow live in 1982, very good good gig. Great gig in fact, so underated in his artistic value, definately. Great memories!!!
