I thought that the Anthem of the Confederacy was "God Save the South".
Then again, "The Bonnie Blue Flag" was popularly considered the Confederate Anthem at the time, and we all know about Texas ("Yellow Rose of Texas").

This spirited song should be our national anthem. Come one, come all, and let's stand together and against the corruptness in Washington D.C. who're infringing upon our individual rights as citizens of this once great nation. Sic semper tyrannis!!

I was born and raised in old New York... but i'll be damned if that song don't stir up some strong feelings.

It's interesting that I see this flag a lot here in PA. Back in MD it was understandable but PA seems a bit odd, maybe because of the whole civil war history thing?

@StiffyBoy56 You are an extremely illogical person. You are a fool who just says words so you'll "sound tough" You moron. The south fought for freedom. I am against slavery and racism, but we all know the US government is slowly moving toward communism. Lincoln basically spat on our fore-fathers.

I'd rather salute this flag than the Stars and Stripes any day! LONG LIVE THE CSA!!!

@Wolfing1785 Too true. It warms my heart to know people know the true cause of the war. The South seceded and formed the Confederacy because they were not fairly represented in Congress. The Union didn't want secessions taking place so they went to war with the Confederacy.

Im distantly related to Jefferson Davis..Im proud to be from the South

@lekoucha My Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather, Thomas Michael Blackwell was a Confederate Officer during the Civil War. He lost his son on Cemetery Ridge at Gettysburg. He was a Southern Patriot and a Jew. So drop the Anti-Semetic shit.

@StiffyBoy56 You dumb fucking idiot. Yes in the south there is still problems with racism. I was born southern and raised it A place where you know your neighbors and go out in a hurricane to help tie off a tree to save their house in 100 mph wind. LEARN your fucking history the civil war was because the political party of Lincoln was in full control and the south was worried about them. Lincoln freed the slaves in an effort to deprive the south of slave-soldiers not before but during the war.
