Just out of curiousity, how do you make your money? The reason I ask is because my uncle Eddie has a goofy sense of humor too and he has an important job with the FCC, so goofiness doesn't equate to stupidity.
It's been said(not sure if I originally got this as a quote) that anyone can be a fool, but it takes intelligence to be entertaining fool. And you sir, are very entertaining.
