I met Eelco some years ago in Breda, after his show. He told me that the years with the Earring where best of his career. "We played like tigers". And indeed Earring Live '77 is the greatest album ever made by a dutch band. One of the best ever made, by the way.

@jojacool Probably a SG 2000 S. It´s heavy, my brother had one. I have a SG 300, light an comfortable.

These guys were as good as it gets. Brilliant writing and when playing live they sounded even better than in the studio. Fucking amazing!

Fucked up solo by Eelco, he recovers a bit towards the end though. Dope sucks.

Fucked up? I do really like the stop/start technique he uses. Not every solo has to be like the usual ones
