Very cute slippers. I think I will make a pair or two for my granddaughters American Girl Doll. Your video is very clear and easy to follow!!

Please tell me what size is this pattern for? I love this slippers and would like to make them for my 12 month old. If they are for smaller babies do you have the steps for a bigger size? thank you !

Thank you for patiently explaining it, you have cleared up things for me I was unsure of while self teaching on other tutorial video's on youtube. keep up the good work, I'm so proud of myself for learning this and you have helped me, and in turn I'm teaching my nephew and soon my niece :)

Oh I just finished your donut and the teacup and saw the ballet slipper in the beginning of the tut's, so I'm tickled I can make these now to! Maybe I'll give these to Mum also with the other stuff I made. Thanks, can't wait to do this one! Hopefully in the next day or so I'll find a few hours :)

Nevermind I figured out the foundation chain! Well, sorta lol. But it works and I am very happy with my results. Also, I used some tiny pink satin yarn and just threaded it through the top and tied a cute bow. :)

If you don't want to do the foundation stitches how many would you need to chain in the beginning?

Maybe my sister can make these for my doll

Hi Tracey..
i just love the music on your video.. what is that " March of the republic"? Its a civil war tune, right? beautiful...anyway..... I thank you for your straightforward videos.. I like to eyeball my crochet... don't like to count much, and you are good at showing visual clues for the n ext step. I like that. Your slippers seem "stiffer" than mine..I used baby yarn. Did you use the thin, thin cotton aunt lydia style thread? again.. thanks.... pat, from NJ

I am having a really difficult time in keeping my yarn from getting to tight on the hook. when this happens, I cant pull through the loop and it makes the entire process very hard. Any tips?

Do you have the written pattern for this?
What is the size of yarn you are using?

@gambrell104 I used a cotton thread it is the same gauge as sock yarn. Hope this helps.
