Santa Esmeralda was a U.S./French disco group formed in the 1970s, which spawned a club hit in 1977 with a cover version of the song "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood". The group also scored a lesser hit with a disco version of "The House of the Rising Sun".Before "Saterday Night Fever" The Bee-Gees and "Thriller" from Michael Jackson, Santa Esmeralda staring Leroy Gomez broke the record of album sales with 15 million LPs sold within a few months. To date more than 25 million.
"Santa Esmeralda "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" is a No 1 Disco Hit in the world with 48 Gold albums and 42 platinum.
"Generation", one of the song from "Another cha cha " album , released in 1979.
