this is the first video i see on ballet or where someone talks about it and i just want to say thank you ! it makes me so happy :) i do some and idk it just makes me happy to hear you speak about the ballet shoes, i have to sew my new ones as well and it made me smile.

There's something about pointe shoes draw me to them. I only got to be on pointe for a year before my ballroom coach made me stop because I was competing and she didn't want me over stressing my legs in ballet :(

@seeingblueskies My excitement's reaching boiling point. That's so sad about your ballet! But, alas, I'm not going to France to dance. (although that's a hell of a rhyme) I basically have the worst body ever made for ballet, I've had surgery on one of my feet, my legs scarcely turn out, and my back is stiff as, so I kind of know that I'm not going to become a "Prima Ballerina" But (possibly like you?) I really love contemporary/lyrical dance. And it's a much more obtainable career for me. :)
