You can't compare Frehlely and Thayer, it's like comparing apples and oranges. In regards to the make up, Kiss is a product used to make money and the spaceman is a trademark . Simple.

I think it's fine that Tahyer is playing with KISS. However, I would prefer him and Singer wear different makeup.

I wish people would just stop, Ace today is sober. He does not want 2b in KISS. Tommy does a great job being Ace, the solo's on Sonic Boom are artistically changed ... really they are not changed however, re-incarnated to bring new life to the hero w/ all grew up with. For those who feel Ace of yesterday is gone, your right ! The new Ace, sober Ace and his new effort Anomaly compares right up there ( if not better ) w/ the new kiss album ! There both awesome w/ Ace being paramount !!!

Tommy is the new Spaceman.
The Ace of the 70s was far better than Tommy, but now Ace can't be in Kiss, and all the Kiss fans we've got to respect Tommy.
