the trick isn't perfect, but no psychological one is. I chose the middle card purely because I thought he was trying to force the one on the left (which he was). If I hadn't been trying to make the trick fail I would have chosen the 5 of clubs.
Right multiple outs. He only needs three. thus left hand is 5, right hand which he did not show is the red card and if we had picked the middle card he would have turned it over to show a not that says, I knew you;d pick this one.

when he points to the ace and four, he uses 5 fingers. also, ace plus four = 1+4 which equals 5, so u subconsiencly pick 5.

its because he blocked out the ace and middle one so the person had to think of the 5 but they think they chose it thereself
