Dream Theater - Voices

From the bootleg; "Tokyo, Japan 10/28-1995"

This was nearly a year after James LaBrie's vocal rupture.

  • This is beyond any doubt...one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard.

DT at their very best... Every time I hear it...I still get chills!!!

  • Fade in guitar notes like in CoT but other than that, I personnaly don't see any connexion between the two songs...

  • 1:46 The Count of Tuscany.....xd

  • i also think his voice sounds pretty good here. maybe he was already recovered from his vocal rupture.

  • he got food poisoning. his vocal cords got messed up after vomiting so much.

  • What happened to JL's voice? Pls explain.. didn't know about that..

I like JP's guitar solo a lot, great voicing.

Think that record isn't that good.

  • Holy shit, Labrie's tearin' it up in this one. I would've never guessed that this was so soon after his vocal rupture, sounds fantastic to me
