It has nothing to do with being "educated." She's trying to reason with her.
-
Not necessarily; it can make conditions worse, leading to melt-down or retaliation.
You have to want to change. Fear only leads us so far. And when we get somewhere because of it, it lacks any personal meaning.

It probably feels safe there for some of them...

She laughed at 1:26.

@enriqueismyman120 She is laughing at her when she asked Naomi if she really thinks there are calories in water.

@anthaaaaaa Uhhh at what point is Dee laughing at her? Did you actually watch the fucking video? This is a life threatening illness. In no way is Dee ridiculing her. These girls need to be treated like this because if they're not hey guess what they'll go home and die from anorexia. THAT'S what happens when these girls are not spoken to in a strict manner.
"Really? You think there are calories in water?" Uh, that's not exactly an uncommon thought amongst anorexics/eating disorder patients.. Great to see just how educated you are.

When Naomi says that she doesn't " believe anyone any more", that's just heartbreaking. This therapist doesn't seem to have an ounce of compassion. I don't agree with the way that they are feeding the girls, either. There are high calorie foods that are healthier for you, and at least then the weight that the girls gain won't all be all from unhealthy fats. Maybe it would make for a better and easier transition for them into normal eating habits.
