  • the management is by omex , we got everything from democ tweeks as we have an account

  • i love tuning and the thought proccess involved but why an 8 v ?

  • @nickernosher my mate just wanted to be different really

  • isnt that a 1.8 head on the 2.0l aba block? it wouldnt be crossflow if it is

  • @dasabrokedub no its a 2lt 8v from a new beetle, you can see its a crossflow as the inlet is at the front, the non crossflow 1.8 and 2.0 ltr heads have both inlet and exhaust at the rear

  • yes stock internals but fully lightened and ballanced

  • It sounds so simple almost pure.

  • just wanted to know how long back did you did it cuz im going to put 20 grand under my bonnet in december and its not going to stay 1.3i its going to be 2.0litre 8 valve with 40mm side drafts with v8 jets 272 cam 50mm cowley branches with fx1 pipe spiral cut valves head flow and then maby thinking of putting on a T2 turbo on,without the turbo its going to cost me 8 grand at van der linde conversions( i already have the side drafts thats not in the price btw

  • ALSO did you get your ITB's from USRT racing.com, they sale the same ones.

  • Who is the Standalone engine management by?

  • This is awesome. You said the engine is from an "New Beetle"? What year and model? I would so love to swap it on my 81 caddy. Specially with the 8v engine. Can you give me some advice? I love to get my truck back running.
