To the people in countries with UHC (see: any first world nation besides the US) that wonder if Americans are really dumb enough to believe this: some of them are, yeah.

It's not all of us though. :(

Left the states long ago. Live in a country that has single payer. I can go to any hospital for any treatment.
I laugh at the US and it's daily parade of stupidity.

scare tactics. The GOP's base is dumb enough to buy into anything outlandish, sadly. But the level of intellectual dishonesty here by Mitch is stunning. He knows better and is pandering.

lol, what does this moron know about european healthcare. We in europe got great healthcare, some of the best in the world, and it's single payer systems, or functional co-ops etc.
Retarded, those republicans, the lot of them

The current system is already costing lives.
"Study links 45,000 U.S. deaths to lack of insurance"
"Lack of health care led to 17,000 US child deaths"
the corporate ownership of US politicians MUST STOP.

does this moron actualy believe that the uk government tells the NHS who the can and cannot treat?

independent bodies give details of which treatments are effective and which are not, and the nhs MUST supply all treatments that is proven effective by these bodies

and if you disagree with what these bodies find effective (which does happend occasionaly) then you can easily change the rulling in court

The UK is laughing at all us Americans. McConnel probably knows it's not true but we have a lot of stupid people over here and they're frightened to death of stuff like that. They don't get out much :(

Silly republicans... I imagine the next couple weeks will be quite hilarious as they hurl their scare tactics and throw their fits...

Any state that opts out will find out come election time what it was the people wanted.. not only will they be out of a job but the people will demand to opt in before you know it.
