I play rim shots A LOT. I tilt my snare like a jazz drummer so they come natural.

I rim shot on my snare a lot cos i love that Extra Attack and Volume but can it damage the bearing edge in any way?

@muratallamani I've played more gigs than you've had hot dinners. Almost by definition, live music doesn't happen on YouTube, so the less YouTube you watch the more likely you are to see me play with a band.
