Cowboys flipping a cow

This is Cevin and Jason flipping a cow who needed an injection to treat flukes. They flipped her, I ran up to her and gave her the shot, and then when we removed the rope from her neck and hind foot, she just continued to lie there, staring at us. After she finally got up, she simply stared more while the guys went to rope another cow. The cow that walked in front of the camera seemed to be wanting to check on the one on the ground . . . this cow won 4th at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this year (2007). It's great having gentle cattle!

Why would you assume that? This was not for 'no reason' -- the cow had a case of flukeworms and there was no way to catch her in this pasture to treat her, other than roping her. She is healthy and blooming now, because of the injection she got that day.
