Hello Bypassman! Thanks for your work with these videos. I am considering gastric bypass surgery. I am 5' 10" 330 lbs. Can you tell me how your doing these days? Would you do the same surgery again? Any vitamin deficiency issues? Any complications recently? Thanks again for the videos, they are very helpful!

hey gary thanks for the shout out i can totally relate to being pre op at a restaurant looking for the biggest meal now i look at the menus and look for the smallest i just hate to waste food lol i know i'm late but like you said better late than never lol

Glad to hear you are doing so well! I can totally relate to ordering off the menu pre and post surgery... I did and now do the same thing. Before it was all about the value now like you said, I won't finish it anyway so I get what sounds the best. Good tip on getting that stuff of your medical records... I need to do that. Darn Halloween candy is STILL tempting me. Agree, M&M's are like crack...! Thx Garry.

Garry - u look GREAT!! & I don't think there's a such thing as TOO skinny, as long as your losing in a healthy manner.
& I think it's funny you mentioned you're still losing weight even when you eat your peanut M&M's. I had a week long obsession w/ fruit flavored tootsie rolls & loss MAJOR weight the next week. I think my body was rewarding me for taking a break from my rigid eating plan. *lol*
so whenever I hit a major plateau, I (moderately) carb up for a day or 2 to break the monotony

Thnks for posting, I always check your site for encouragement, as like you Ive had no complications other than a protein shake that didnt stay down, Im down 100 pounds in 3 months. Dont ever let people tell you, youre too skinny, thats how I gained my weight initially when I was 21.
Are you doing the firefighter thing? Just curious. Yep...new subscriber here!!!!

@TheSlimJen Havent heard any results from the test yet. My town is having probs with the whole fire thing and budgets. So no news yet.

Good to see ya hanging in there... better be careful with those double portion m&m's... they will sneak up on you... I am glad to hear I'm not the only person that doesn't dump...

Great update! Congrats on your weight loss, you have done amazing! I can relate to your update...I am 17 months post-op and I can eat a variety of foods now and some sugar, icecream does make me dump though, it's the liquid sugar that makes me sick. That is awesome about the blood pressure and sleep apnea being gone!!! I too am pretty happy with the excess skin, I thought it would be worse :) Keep up the hard work...and take care!
