@tuuurtje The sound is the same, but usually 720p and 1080p give stereo sound. People seem unable to tell the difference between increased sound quality and stereo sound.

@MrDivination stupid. the video itself is coded into a codec to be encrypted by youtube. youtube just scales the video in the right scale. 240 = 320x240 1080= 1920x1080 pixels.
