You are a saint. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, right on the dot with the marble hornets distortion. Thanks so much, bro!

I tried this on a guitar track, didn't get past the "mild" distortion but it had wayyy too much bass in it for what I wanted. I don't see why there isn't an option like there is for reverb and delay.

@ihavesexforhappymeal er... actually this isn't meant too much for guitar and audio tracks, but I don't see why I can't make a tutorial for guitar distortion if that is what you wish. :)

What version of Audacity are you using? Mine doesn't have the same Equalizer window as you, it doesn't have the row of dials you use to change the pitch.

@LegoAlchemist Mine is 1.3 beta. but does yours have the "draw curves" and "graphicEQ" option in the equalization effect? If so, it must be set to "graphic EQ".

This is very cool! But could you possibly explain why you did all those things in the video? It would help me understand how to apply them.

@ross817 if i were to explain them, the video would have been epicly long. these are all things i mostly learned in my midi production class, and i didn't want to bore you too! XD
