I like this. I'm Portuguese and have been to Croatia. Found the people there very friendly.

I'm Portuguese and I love fado. Any Portuguese that critiques her for whatever pronunciation mistakes that she might make is nothing but an asshole... pure and simple. We Portuguese should be proud that she's interpreting this song so well and with such depth of feeling.

What stupid comments I see here... from Portuguese people (I'M PORTUGUESE).
Why call her 'bitch' or make fun of her... Of course no one can sing FADO like a Portuguese singer, with all his soul and feeling... But let the Portuguese language and PORTUGAL spread his wings all over the world.
We have a lot that the world don't know... beautiful things.. :)

Amazing!!!

You can't defend music. Music is here to be interpreted. She is not Portuguese and she is not trying to be. What she is doing by interpreting "Meu Fado Meu", is paying a compliment to the world music heritage that Fado belongs to.

I don't speak potuguese..but I think she has a great voice..Jelena najbolja si :)

Look! Mariza from Coatia! But she has got to learn portuguese... I'm from Portugal and it would hard for me to understand her. I know the lyrics, that's how I understand her. Examples: Mourria=Mouraria; Umado=Amado. Still, this is the best fado I have ever heard from a foreign citizen.

Very funny accent. She has to spend time in Portugal, to learn how to say some words, but in general, great voice, and she's doing her job: showing the fado to Croatia.
