@cyderman69 I'm sorry but who actually cares what cars better than what, petrol heads dont always chose the best handling and quickest car for the money, they chose their favourite, like the lamborghini miura is technically a heap of shit it's not exactly super car quick in todays standards, it's unreliable and very badly made, but i can guaruntee no matter what the price is, people would take a miura over an evo, personally i prefer the escort even if it isnt as good, its easier to work on :-)

@CT9A4g63MAN can't agree with you unfortunately it would all depend on the level of tune on both cars. In standard trim your right but when you start bringing high power escorts into it you have a whole different story.

Love the old RST's but having driven both, like for like there's no comparison. Evo's always gonna come out on top, and this was on a straight road! In the twisties you would just be filming an empty stretch of road cos the evo would be long gone.

and did you also know that the evo has 170bhp per ton and they weigh just under 1.5 tons (1410kg)
my escort turbo is easily over 170 bhp and weigh's 1058 kg so do the math lol
im not trying to say i was all over him like a rash but at the end of the day I know I gave a top end car a hard time in my 22 year old escort. up to 70 mph of course ;-)
