Dead End Speed Way

State Street in Wauwatosa was a one way street for what seemed months until early this morning when it was shut down completely between 60th and 68th for the final resurfacing. Neither the city nor road construction crews bothered to put up detour signs after closing State Street. After finding the West bound lane of State closed drivers went around the block past my house thinking they'd get right back on to State? After a numerous cars ran the barricades construction workers re enforced the barricade and it held back the tide of cars that ran down 62nd Street. Vehical after vehical went to the dead end some hesitated seeming to think should I drive thru tha barricade? Some ventured into the industrial property next to Grede Foundry still looking for a route West back to State Street even after seeing the asphalt trucks and steam rollers at work. I watched them following one another like lemmings to the DEAD END! And I couldn't resist recording it.
