Survivors from abusive institutions across this nation will meet in Long Beach, CA in February 24-27, 2012 at the Queen Mary. This will be for purposes of healing, empowerment and to tell our story to the world.
There will be a panel discussion headed by radio host, Mark Levine. Nick Gaglia, director of 'Over the GW', which was mentioned in a congressional hearing about abusive facilities, will screen his latest movie, 'Aaron Bacon' about a death in a wilderness camp in Utah. Alexis Parks, author of American Gulag, will also be there. To view schedule updates, visit the official convention site at: http://sia-convention.org
