Survivors from abusive institutions across this nation will meet in Long Beach, CA in February 24-27, 2012 at the Queen Mary. This will be for purposes of healing, empowerment and to tell our story to the world.

There will be a panel discussion headed by radio host, Mark Levine. Nick Gaglia, director of 'Over the GW', which was mentioned in a congressional hearing about abusive facilities, will screen his latest movie, 'Aaron Bacon' about a death in a wilderness camp in Utah. Alexis Parks, author of American Gulag, will also be there. To view schedule updates, visit the official convention site at: http://sia-convention.org

This groundbreaking convention will not be possible without the generosity of survivors and their supporters. Please help us to make this moment happen by donating to the Survivors of Institutional Abuse at: http://sia-now.org

The voice over is done by the one and only 'Master of Many Things'. His website is: http://www.youtube.com/user/masterofmanythings1
