Styrofoam isn't bio-degradable though. People will throw out their styrofoam cups just like paper cups. The answer is to use mugs (if offered) when drinking at the coffee shop of your choice or bringing in your own reusable container when ordering to-go or when mugs aren't available.

1 advantage of Styrofoam over coated paper is that it can and Should be reused ,and refilled. You could use it for months and months if youre careful ,just rinse, like a mug.
