PLEASE WATCH & PLEASE HELP!!!
Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) is a devastating birth defect occurring in 1 of every 2,500 births. CDH occurs when the diaphragm fails to fully form during pregnancy, allowing abdominal organs into the chest cavity and preventing lung growth.
Somewhere in the world, a baby is born with CDH every 10 minutes. Over a half million babies have been born with CDH since 2000 and 50% of babies diagnosed with CDH do not survive including my precious grandson Jayden. (You can watch his story in my upload list.) The cause is not known. It is as common as Spina Bifida and Cystic Fibrosis but there is very little awareness and even less research.
CHERUBS, the biggest & oldest charity supporting over 3,100 CDH families in 38 countries and all 50 U.S. states, is working hard to raise more CDH awareness, fund research & support families devastated by this terrible condition. They have a fantastic opportunity to win funds for support and fund research to help bring us closer to the cause of CDH in the current "Pepsi Refreshes" contest.
Please watch this video sent out today by CHERUBS which includes shots of our Jayden at 1:18 & 7:05 & then go to http://www.voteforcdh.org for info on how you can vote EVERYDAY for the rest of December to help "Save the Cherubs!". You can vote 2 different ways (email login & text on your phone) or if you are on Facebook then you can vote a 3rd time through Facebook too.
Learn more about CDH at: http://www.cdhsupport.org & http://www.savethecherubs.org
Thanks in advance for your support!
(If you are outside the U.S.A. reportedly the site is not supposed to let you vote but some of our overseas friends have been able to get votes through, so give it a try anyway!)
