enjoyed this film..great tribute to a football icon. ironically he was sent off in this match, remember 2006 WC final?

i think thats the wrong way to look at it. what about players like george best thats are unlikely to ever reach a world cup because of the team they play for? i agree that the world cup is the biggest stage but in reality its only slighty ahead of the champions league.

i realize that a lot of people find the entire film difficult to sit through, but if you are one of the people who could sit down and watch it all the way through, it truly is a great experience, and just gives an overall great feeling to watch.

no he's playing for Real Madrid, so they're talking Spanish. It's allí, means "over there".

i think some of the time he's saying "aqui" aswell which is "here". plus sometimes he's saying "david" as in david beckham.

Great clip. Shows the reality of a game, there's a lot of waiting around in football, I think it's something like the average player only has the ball at his feet for a few minutes each game. This bid really puts that into perspective and displays how people judge you on what you do in this few crucial moments when you are involved in play on or off the ball.
