This is a video of our Montana Built Energy Queen Cookstove that was built in Libby Montana. Friend, Dennis Bontrager is no longer building them. He sold the business to a different Amish family. Unfortunately the quality just was not there, so we dropped them, shortly afterward, they went out of business do to lack of sales.
As you can see there are many similarities between Kitchen Queen and the Energy Queen. Dennis is originally from the Amish community in Michigan where the Kitchen Queens were made. There are many KQ ideas in his cook stove.
We have kicked around the idea of re-introducing this cookstove with some further refinements like Glass Doors, Secondary Combustion, and possibly a Thermoelectric option that would provide enough electricity, to run a small homestead.

  • That is a beautiful stove, and I like how it's nestled in there with the wood stacked nearby.
