  • Incredible.

I truly feel that they need to have more lightweight events in the Olympics!

  • Go Denmark! So much power. They just took seat after seat during their final sprint, that was amazing!

The Irish totally flied & died. Kind of a shame.

  • Of all the time I've watched this race, this is the first time I've noticed that 1/2 the boats are starboard stroked. With Ebbesen rowing Starboard. Is the Video reversed?

  • @roeiertje, ey david, daniel hier, is dat Karel?

  • @Sigmarian ... the world record for the LM4- is 5:45,6 set by Denmark (Eskild Ebbesen, Victor Feddersen, Thomas Poulsen, Thomas Ebert) at the world cup finale in Lucerne in Switzerland back in 1999...

  • My coach is in the 3 seat of the Dutch. :D

  • lightweights. often described as the most masochistic and psychotic rowers. similar training and times to the heavies with up to 40kg less weight to use! i love how these guys are so light and in my experience as a lightweight it seems that aside from other lightweight crews the main goal in life is to lower the heavies a peg or two, i love lightweights! go mighty lights!

oh and denmark are supreme. if we ever get the lw four i am in anywhere near this speed i shall spontaneously orgasm. peace

  • @Sigmarian different days and conditions. if you notice, the heavyweight race had head wind

  • how heavy is lightweight in the olympics?

  • Never, at any point in this race, was there a quention of who was going to win. Denmark is DOMINANT.

  • the dutches did the strangest race i've ever seen

  • @danishguyky the irish had nothing to lose, so the just went out hard and tried to hang on...well yes, they died, but id rathe see that than the dutch who were behind all the time just to come back in the last 200m - without any success...
