this video is making me cry, im 17 now and had lived in ventura since i was 8 years old i remember just seeing and walking by each of the things in this video everyday and just seeing it all on here makes me sad that i dont live there anymore, i was forced to move because i had been shot on the avenue by some punk wanna be gangsters and now it's all taken from me. i really do cherish each moment i had there and miss it all more than anything. ventura always will have a spot in my heart. <3

Dude minimum wage is 850 and I got a job that was paying me 16 an hour with out a diploma

2008 was the best time in ventura i moved away in 2009 and came back late 2010 and alot has changed not as laid back as it use to be, not as nice anymore either dont get me wrong its still great but its getting to big.

@srff24 Santa Barbara is gorgeous and has tons of arts and culture but us VERY expensive. Ventura is also gorgeous and more laid back. Also fairly expensive to live. Both have great weather and are on the beach. Northern Cal. (Humboldt, Del Norte and Shasta counties) all have way less people and incredible scenery and are cheaper ares to live.

@srff24 California has been hit very hard by the recession. Harder than the rest of the country. Their are low paying jobs, though!
