Our in house technician: Jim, is going to show you how simple it is to take apart and store the Bosch 4100 / 4100-09 table saw. He also goes through the easy process of: removing and storing the miter gauge, blade guard, the fence and dropping the blade below the table which makes the saw completely flat and easily stored.
This saw will work for you- if you need to store it or move it in a snap.

@woodlist its not for every cut, thats why it can be quickly stored. It prevents knuckle heads like you from suing the manufacture for not having such obvious safety features.

The riving knife prevents timber from 'pinching' the blade when ripping. So, what use is it for non-through cuts? Such a cut can't pinch the blade. A riving knife was designed to prevent 'pinching' when ripping through a board. If you are cutting tenon shoulders, dadoes, and grooves etc, ('non-through' cuts) nothing is going to pinch the blade. Yes, the work could be swivelled, accidentally, but in that case, a riving knife wouldn't prevent that, or kickback. Puzzled!
