  • I think people miss the cloud is a double edged sword.

Although you will be able to access your data across different platforms and in different places, you will loose the security and the reliabilty of knowing where the data is. Should you forget to pay a months sub you could end up loosing all your data.

A personal fear is with so many things looking towards the cloud we could end up paying that low $4.95 a month for ever for something that was once a one-off $34.95. Everythings going WOW.

  • Would my cloud be easily shut down by the providers, owners, govt or some one who has power and influence automatically? Yes. Why can't we have some services that couldn't be shut down by those influence? Yeah, we need some flexible protocol implementations so that your clouds can avoid them. Your clouds should be able to replicate and flow across multiple platforms.

  • @2giggle24

Nice with somebody who can focus on the relevant matters.

  • Really interesting, especially Randy's answers.

  • /The interviewer's high pitched voice is really annoying. Also he talks much too fast and sounds like he's reading it. This is an interesting subject, but really, get another interviewer.
