Mensa is a society for people with high IQ's. Here, 3 members of New York City Mensa are profiled. One loves to belly dance and two are singer-songwriters. This film starts with one minute of "black"...

  • If someone strugle by concentration to get around 130 to 135 in a admission's test for Mensa, do you think it's worth?

  • @viviane5572 -- well, if you qualify for Mensa, I would recommend joining. I have met some wonderful people there that I probably would not have met otherwise. As for the question of "struggling"... well I'm not sure. I did not take a special test to get into Mensa, they accepted a score from a test I took to get into college. Does this answer your question??

  • @viviane5572 -- it's really up to you. I am not sure which scores Mensa accepts from which IQ tests. It's a choice only you can make, there is no "right" answer. One thing you might want to do, is to attend some local Mensa events. Many of them are open to "potential members", so you can learn more about the organization. :-)

  • @viviane5572 -- why not attend some local Mensa events as a "potential member"? This way you can learn more about the organization and then decide if you want to join.

I am not sure which scores are accepted from which IQ test. You might already qualify!

  • Nice video! You're very talented ;-)

  • @scarface82us -- Thank you so much! Your comment means a lot to me. :-)

  • @girlgeniusNYC Here it's rare from what I'v seen. Mensa members don't have any problem doing the test lol, I could have, because I could do it today and have a high score, and do it tomorrow having a much lower score lol I find it so strange

  • @girlgeniusNYC I only have a result around 127 -135 when I concentrate 100%, wich is difficult for me to do at the biggest part of the time, my mind just keep making associations, I mean distracted all the time, it's not something that bothers my life, still if I didn't have it, I would be able to be more functional in everything I do.

  • @carmaj156 -- Thanks so much for your message. Sounds like you did very well on the test. I am not sure which tests Mensa accepts, or what scores are needed.

  • @girlgeniusNYC I got a 133 on a WAIS III. Do I qualify to be a member? BTW I didn't realize what I was doing was an "official" test untill I finished.
