Two good reasons to not bother with a subwoofer.

The Revel F12 Concertas deliver astonishing bass, with ribcage bending power. Subwoofer? No need.... although the Onkyo 3007 can output 9.2 channels, I think 5.0 is good enough for most domestic rooms with these beasts.

nice setup :-) i do have a subwoofer but it is too small and tuned too low so it sounds muddy and shakes the house. i will replace it with one that is bigger but tuned higher, hopefully that will be much better! it will also have a lower crossover point and the midbass will be handled by a speaker inbetween the size of the subwoofer and satellites. when i get my car the subwoofer will go in there, leaving the midbass speaker and satellites in my room to avoid annoying my neighbours for too long!
