Nice. Put some elbow grease into it!!!
I'd like to see someone try to ring up the Liverpool tenor single-handedly. Something tells me they wouldn't get very far.

I like to see u try that at Southwark Cathedral

@anonmonen I think you did jolly well to manage that! Many thanks for your response, interesting conjecture from which one concludes that there are a handful of ringers (obviously your self included) who can ring up a bell up to around 60cwt, but the fact that apparently everybody who has tried Exeter's tenor has so far failed, means that 60 is about the limit...

@ProfMoose Thanks Professor :) As you say not many other possibilities left! It was only a rumour I heard that sombody had managed the 11th at Liverpool, and judging by this response it is indeed definitely possible somebody could have!
-
If you can confirm Liverpool 11th has been done then I doubt there are many other possibles. Only really Wells, York and St Pauls. Just noticed anonmonen has claimed Wells and Wittingtons says York has been done - only St Pauls left. Liverpool might be easier than Exeter.

@rockymountainradio I've pulled Wells Cathedral up on me own!

@ProfMoose That's interesting to hear! (as it happens I have rung the tenor behind at Exeter) But I have wondered for a long time which the heaviest bell to be raised single handedly would have been, i figured that the tenor at Exeter would be to heavy for anybody to rais on there own, so I suppose it would be the 11 at Liverpool then?

when you got to ringing it normally it was striking twice?? :P
-
You seemed to ring it up quite quickly, at my tower there are people that take 10 minutes to ring up the treble.

@bagpiper2005 I wouldn't put money on your presumption. The eleventh goes up a piece of piss, single-handedly.
So did you get it up right? It looks to me like you did.
