@TheBunkis Actually, it's more like 40,000-50,000 HP with full afterburner (although you can't directly measure the hp of jet engines). Nonetheless, a jet engine does produce way more power and spin much much faster than a comparable piston engine (if there is one).

Now THAT'S horsepower. A single F-16 at full afterburn produces HP that exceeds 100,000. That's more than 3 times the entire starting line-up of the NASCAR field.

The only good part of a nascar race. because a REAL race involves hair pin turns, downshifting breaking and so on. Not a bunch of hicks driving around in a circle the only good left turn raceing is the reno air races. And don't even mention Infineon or walkins glen cuz only two road courses just doesn't cut it

Opinions are like assoles....everybody has one :) Too bad NASCAR is the fastsest growing racing in popularity in the nation.
