The following video will demonstrate the Canadian Coast Guard Rigid Hull Inflatable Operator's Training Course which includes both basic and advanced boat training, man overboard exercises, capsized reversal training, and pacing exercises, for employees of the Canadian Coast Guard, RCMP and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
Krista Elvidge is a Search and Rescue (SAR) Preparedness Officer for the Canadian Coast Guard in the Maritime Services Search and Rescue Branch in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia for the Maritime region. Krista is also responsible for the CCG Inshore Rescue Boat Program.
The following video will show some of the search and rescue techniques used by the Canadian Coast Guard.
