And the other phenomenal thing (wolllempietra :) is that this technically is not the Mothers. It's a Hot Rat's outtake that Frank rightly felt deserved inclusion on lp (this was also true of Sugar Cane's section of Little House on Burnt Weany Sandwhich).

First heard this when Ryko it out on CD in 1990 - always thought this was great - really liked the up-front snare drum, not exactly a common audio tactic when recorded in 1969.
