The machine was designed and built specifically for DuClaw Beer Company in Maryland (www.duclawbeer.com). Some of the challenges faced with this machine included:

-2 labeling heads with stacked blades (This is so the customer could run zero-down time, switch from one product to the next without stopping the machine, or run Front & Back labels on 2 different rolls)

-An air knife system to blast away condensation or overfill prior to labeling

-A small footprint capable of labeling up to 60 BPM.

-No bottle spacer, as the bottle come pre-spaced from the filler when it is running.

Based of our standard SV-100S Stand-Alone labeling head and our 3-roll quick change capture station, this is a great entry-level fully automatic machine. Production on this machine, as well as other in our new SV Series label applicators, is scheduled to start this summer after these initial testing locations provide us with some feedback.
