Mercedes 190 25th anniversary at brooklands

Mercedes 190 25th anniversary at the brooklands racetrack. Organised and attended by members of mercedes190.co.uk. 53 cars gathered to celebrate the 25th birthday of the mercedes baby benz model w201. Cars ranged from fully original models to engine swaps and turbo conversions. Many cosworth models (2.3-16v and 2.5-16v) and vegetable oil powered motors too.

For diesel mercs the best cheap options are to help its breathing. There is a restriction intentionally put in the air intake tube which can be removed, also a larger exhaust. Beyond that the best is ensuring everything is running 100% and perhaps fitting a turbo charger. If its a LHD then there are merc ones available that fit easily.

Yeah, it's the best car ever!

I have a 190D and it is completely co2 neutral:

I am using salad oil instead of diesel!!

I had to invest 300 euros into a gasoline warming device that I installed onto the gasoline pipe and now I am filling up my car at the supermarket!

(How do I know that it works? - well, I drove with salad oil over 200 000 km - and the engine still works great ! )

@kentronix i'v got a 94' c250 diesel non-turbo shes pretty quick with 197,000 on her still as strong as a tank starts perfectly and runs like a dream and no turbo to quiten down the 5 cyl engine i really prefer the noise of a c250 d to a c250 td would love a drive in 1 tho see if the 150bhp engine is rly tht good c250 d has 113bhp i believe but for 113bhp she can fly kickdown and she lifts even slides the tail out if you give her kickdown at low speeds :D
