Dude, we went downhill while he was still here. He just stopped recruiting and didn't give a shit anymore. That is why we had players like Porter, Harris, Stevenson, Orbzut, Shagari, Sheray Thomas, Bobby Perry, etc. Just tons of garbage players.
Cal showed us how a UK coach is supposed to recruit. Tubby was simply too burnt out for the job and that is why he left in the middle of the night to Sota.

Kinda miss Tubby...it's a shame that UK didn't appreciate him like they should of...I wish him the best at Minnesota tho.

I remember right after the brackets were picked before a single game was played in this tournament, Dean Smith stated on the panel discussion: "There are 5 number one seeds in this tournament. Kentucky is a #1 seed."

The fans should have never ran Tubby out UK. We definitely went downhill when he left. Glad that we got calipari now to bring us back uphill. Calipari was right about what he said. He said we complained about the smallest things tubby did and got rid of him. Now we need him to bring us back.
