@baldomb Thank you! I've actually sold this bike to a coworker, and started a new project (09' KQ 750 w/ EPS) - almost ready to launch! I've put about 20 miles on it so far with minor mods, but I'm still waiting for my HMF swamp series to show up. Hopefully I'll have some new videos soon!

The difference between a PC3 and the copperhead is like comparing a BMW to a Focus... The price diff is about $200, but it's completely worth it. I'm actually about to order a KQ 750 and I'll be going the same route with that one. It makes a much bigger improvement on the 750 than the 450... Although I really love my 450 (which is why I'm keeping that too). Good luck!

does the hmf run and sound fine with out a vdi or ecu?
will it hurt the bike with out one?

It won't hurt the bike without one, but HMF actually recommends it. You're going to have to change the fuel/air ratio to get the power out of the pipe. I installed it without the VDI at first... it ran good, barely notable increase in power, however, add the VDI and BAM you've got a 500 class wheeler, that'll smoke most 500-600's.
