VFA-195 Dambusters - Chippy Ho F/A-18E Super Hornet - 2011

What a sweet looking jet this is! It was a very lucky deal to have the opportunity to even get out to NAS Oceana and see this jet up close! The guys in the squadron did a very nice job with the paint!

VFA-195 is not stationed at Oceana. They are based out of Japan but are currently stateside at NAS Lemoore, CA for the squadrons transition from the F-18C Hornet to the F/A-18E Super Hornet.

The whole time I lived in Atsugi I forgot 195 got Es....

Too busy with 102 and the Fs... ._. Now CVW-5 has all super hornets. 195 left.. and 115 arrived.. Man I miss Japan :C
