We drained all of the fluids, and replaced the oil to see if the head gasket would be worth fixing. We did not run it long and didn't put any coolant in it so it wouldn't mix with the oil again. I had to keep the RPMs up and it was smoking badly because it was burning off what was left of the oil/water we drained.

  • I was going to, but to get the head gasket replaced would cost around $400 and up, and I found another Loyale that runs for $400 locally. It was a mountain car originally and I discovered a large amount of rust in random spots along the car, the worst being along the bumper mount. I have attacked it full force, but If I find the $400 wagon to be in better condition I will probably fix it up instead and part this one out.
