Hopefully everything you ever wanted to know about using a capo.

This is a link for a chart for "Hotel California", which I will be referring to during the video: http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/e/eagles/hotel_california_ver6_crd.htm

Check out the full lesson on my website: http://www.lukesniper.net/?p=153

  • @Rainbowlove19981 It really is quite simple. The transposition tends to be what confuses people, which is really a result of how guitar is often taught.

Instead of learning WHY a certain shape gets you an A minor chord or a G major chord, they think that the shape IS the chord.

Once people realize that's not the case, everything usually makes much more sense.

  • Thanks I actually now understand all the notes when using a capo :D
