is this also known as sextuplet? or am i getting to patterns mixed up?

it is a sextuplet but that only refers to how many notes there are. sex = 6. Its also a version of a Paradiddle-diddle so you could call it a Parradiddle-diddle in sextuplets.

yeah youre right. Hadnt thought about it that way but any permutation or 2 singles and 2 sets of doubles will be a six stroke roll
